Yang Lin
I am an incoming junior undergraduate student at the University of California San Diego, majoring in Computer Science.
I immigrated from Taiwan to the United States in 2019. I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing sports, particularly badminton, pingpong, volleyball, and cycling. In my free time, I love watching anime and playing video games.
I began my coding journey in 2022, starting with C++ when I first entered college. Currently, I am involved in a Software Engineering Internship with Swing Phi LLC, where I leverage AI to analyze social media posts related to investing news and generate concise data summaries. Additionally, I'm learning about server and cloud computing on AWS. I'm also self-developing a mobile app that allows users to track of their expenses and categories the expenses in their own way.
